The Social Security Act

In this article we will discuss The Social Security Act

Congress passed, and President Roosevelt
signed into law, the Social Security Act on
August 4, 1935. This act remains the most significant piece of social legislation ever enacted in the United States. It also paved the way for greater federal involvement in health and welfare.
